KITKAT UPDATE FOR ACE DUOS(NEXT V2)

SCRENSHOTS:








HOW TO INSTALL:
1.FIRST INSTAL ADROID V2.CLICK HERE TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL.
2.AFTER INSTALLING V2 REBOOT UR DEVICE.
3.GOTO SETTINGS<APPLICATION<DEVELOPMENT AND TICK USB DEBUGGING ON.
4.GO BACK AND TICK UNKNOWN SOURCES ON.
5.NOW REBOOT IN CWM AND CHOOSE MOUNTS AND STORAGE.
6.*IMP. STEP NOW SELECT SYSTEM<UNMOUNT<FORMAT<MOUNT SYSTEM. 
7.NOW CHOOSE INSTALL FROM ZIP AND SELECT THIS UPDATE.

    You are great! After reading innumerable posts about how to update my Galaxy S6802 to ICS and KItkat and trying them to see failure after failure, I found them dead wrong. Only you and ,of course, the author of the Roms, Komang turned out to be the CHAMPIONS. Thank you both so much. Ihsan

    never mind ihsan some people do have the stuff but dont know how to make use of it....i m not creater of roms bt i do know the right procedure that is what i m sharing with all of 6802 users.

      I am not sure if you got my earlier message.
      I had sought your help regarding a minor issue after the update; while all is going fine, the Arabic font is being displayed as disconnected characters i.e. ا ل ح م د for the word الحمد. Can you kindly suggest a fix. I will be grateful.

      The date of your message was mistakenly mentioned as 23rd. The correct date was 25th August.
      Detail procedure for installing Arabic font is requested once again as the kitkat update rom does not support Arabic in Locale and Text setting, though ironically Arabic fonts are present in system folder!

      Dear Dushyant
      The issue that I was experiencing after DW Rom KitKat update, I think, due to your many other engagements, could not get proper focus. However, I kept on researching the issue and noted that this update is based on an Indian stock rom that has no support for Arabic. Also, some language files patches have been released for earlier Android versions upto Gingerbread to correct this problem, but none to my knowledge, for KitKat based version.
      It was, therefore, logical to think that a rom supporting Arabic language could also resolve the issue. To test the theory I flashed my set with a Gingerbread stock rom for Egypt that does have support for Arabic (S6802JPMA1). As soon as I was done with flashing, the problem of disconnected letters was gone forever.
      As Arabic support is required universally not only in Arabic speaking countries but by large populations in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc, I would request you to approach Komang to consider writing a patch for DW Rom to resolve the issue of Arabic language display. Otherwise many will have no option but to keep up with their original firmware.

      Hi. Im a gts6802 adroid rom user for a how many months now. The link you have provided had got to a page where you can see the DWROMv3.zip but all of the dload buttons are for apk's. Not for zipfile. I have tried all of them and dloaded many apkfiles. And that apk files were not the DWROMv3. Whats wrong?

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946437 ...when i tried to install the above kitkat update my phone got stuck in bootloop several times and the procedure failed....i hv done the exactly same steps that u have told....plz help....your rom looks very cool and interesting and i am very much interested in using it in my phone too...

      still its not working dude..stuck on the same samsung bootloop screen..btw dushyant i had installed only the adroid rom and not the kernel....maybe this could be the reason of it not working...what do you think ????

    Is these ROM a real android 4.4 kitkat or kitkat themed Droid ROM?

      You can tell if the custom rom is kitkat by going to Setting > About Phone > Android Version to see that it will be 4.4-4.4.4, all popularly called Kitkat. If it was a kitkat themed droid, it will show version 4,0-4.0.4, called Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

      what I do in that situation is to try it all over again, I constantly happens when rom bothers me, I try ke the time needed ( generlamente about 4 and sometimes with different roms ) especially for this rom works on android 4.3 and I works perfect, it can also be an error with the kernel, in which case you should reinstate and Odin

    the boot finnshed and i can rise the volume sound up !!! and ear the tone!!! but when i rotate my phone only 1/4 of screen showing the system(Rom or what ever...) working but the rest of screen is just samsung logo !!!!

    Where can i download the DWROMv3.zipfile? Ive clicked the link you have provided, say skip ad, skipped. The zipfile appeared but the dload buttons are not for the zipfile, they are apk files. Not zipfiles. Id try it many times. And dloaded many apk files. What would i do?
